The gender perspective in the protection of women human rights defenders in México and Honduras (only in Spanish)

The report titled “The gender perspective in the protection of women human rights defenders in Mexico and Honduras” is based on the experience of women human rights defenders that, in the practice of their right to defend human rights, have been victims of targeted violence. The experience of JASS (Just Associates) in this topic, the protection efforts made by PI and the technical contributions of CEJIL are compiled in this publication to help increase the comprehension of the violence that women human rights defenders are victims of, and request effective security measures that take into account the gender perspective to avoid cases like the infamous assassination of the Honduran human rights defender Berta Cáceres Flores.
