Human Mobility

For 30 years, CEJIL has promoted the protection of fundamental rights on issues related to asylum, migration, internal forced displacement, statelessness, and people in need of international protection, all of which are included in the concept of human mobility. Through strategic litigation, advocacy and communication, CEJIL contributes to guaranteeing the rights of these populations from a human rights perspective and with a regional focus. All of this has allowed us to collaborate with various United Nations agencies and other key actors at the global level.

In the last decade, CEJIL’s work has focused on the situation of stateless people, on human mobility in Venezuela, Mexico and Central America; and on the structural causes of these mobilizations.
