Election of Commissioners

During the 43rd OAS General Assembly, elections were held for Commissioners of the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights.  José de Jesús Orozco (Mexico) was re-elected.  James Cavallaro (United States) and Paulo de Tarso Vannuchi (Brazil) were also elected, and their posts will last from January 2014 until December 2017.  Dinah Shelton (United States) and Rodrigo Escobar Gil (Colombia) will depart at the end of this year.
