Requirements
- Interest and experience in management and administration of development projects
- Solid knowledge of the Spanish language. Knowledge of Portuguese and/or English is valued, depending on the location of the internship
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to responsibly handle a wide variety of administrative tasks
- Previous experience in NGOs is a plus
- Interest and experience in fundraising
Job Description
The interns work in direct coordination with the institutional development team. Their responsibilities include a wide range of tasks, such as:
- Systematizing information
- Participating in the development of internal or donor reports;
- Supporting the monitoring of indicators and internal evaluations
- Researching topics related to international cooperation or individual donations
- Translating documents to and from English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese depending on the office
- Supporting the implementation of projects and other administrative tasks.
Objective
At the end of the internship, institutional development interns will have gained work experience in the management and administration of an international human rights NGO, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the Inter-American Human Rights System and the state of human rights in Latin America.
