43 General Assembly of the OAS

 

The General Assembly of the OAS will take place from 4 to 6 June 2013 in Antigua, Guatemala. The central theme this year is “For a comprehensive policy against the global drug problem in the Americas.”

During this period, the General Assembly will elect three Commissioners of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (CIDH). Also be submitted for approval various draft resolutions, among which are the remarks to the Annual Report 2012 of the IACHR and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, as well as draft resolution “Inter-American Convention against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Related Intolerance “and” Inter-American Convention against All Forms of Discrimination and Intolerance. “
