The program provides participants with a comprehensive and realistic understanding of the Inter-American Human Rights System, as well as the broader human rights context across the hemisphere.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ed39f5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5ed39f5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">General Features<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e4ae46a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e4ae46a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Internships are offered in three cycles throughout the year: January to April, May to August, and September to December. Applicants may choose the cycle to which they wish to apply.<\/p><p>While each cycle is expected to last four months, its duration may be adjusted depending on the selected candidate\u2019s availability and CEJIL\u2019s institutional needs.<\/p><p>At the time of application, candidates must select one office where they will carry out their internship. CEJIL has four offices: Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), San Jos\u00e9 (Costa Rica), Buenos Aires (Argentina), and Washington, D.C. (United States).<\/p><p>Applicants must also indicate the area of interest in which they wish to undertake their internship. For in-person internships, candidates are required to have health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the internship.
