Next week, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights will elect a new Executive Secretary. Facing a financial crisis without precedent and repeated attacks from member States, the Executive Secretary will assume their position at a critical moment in the history of the Commission. In our continuous efforts towards promoting transparency in the elections of the Commission and Court, this discussion will offer a new opportunity for the 5 candidates to present themselves and participate in a conversation with civil society.
