Human Mobility: CEJIL´s work

With the occasion of our recent 25th anniversary, CEJIL has built a platform that will host six topics important to the region that we will highlight throughout the year. We have decided to compile the progress of human rights in the continent and our participation in these advances, from the day CEJIL emerged.

On March 8th, International Women’s Day, we inaugurated this project with the theme of women’s rights in the Americas. You can read it again here.

Today, we present the second microsite based on Human Mobility. In this context, we focus on the recent TPS cancellation for citizens of Honduras in the United States, along with the migratory reality in Venezuela, which is causing thousands of Venezuelans to find refuge in other countries —CEJIL will go, together with other many organizations, to the next IACHR period of sessions to present this issue, among other issues related to human mobility in the continent.

Stay tuned to our social media to learn more about our work in the region and how we defend rights to #changerealities and to support this critical and urgent work, please consider making a donation to CEJIL today.
